Minnesota Twins-New York Yankees Game 3 Preview: Brian Duensing's Time To Shine

The Minnesota Twins did not expect to find themselves in this situation again.

Did the Minnesota Twins Get Screwed? Nope, Don't Think So

To everyone that thinks the Minnesota Twins got screwed by the umpire who called the pitch before the Yankees' Lance Berkman got the RBI hit a ball, when it was actually a strike, the umpire had already called an earlier pitch in that at bat a strike when it was clearly six inches off the plate.

Tribe Talk: Farewell, 2010 Indians

Welcome to Tribe Talk, where Bleacher Report's Cleveland Indians fans weigh in on the ups and downs of the club each week throughout the season.

This week, we present our final installment of Tribe Talk for 2010, handing out our end-of-season awards for the team and sharing our final thoughts on the 2010 Cleveland Indians.

I would like to thank participants Dale Thomas, Nino Colla, Lewie Pollis, and The Coop for their outstanding contributions this week and throughout the season.

Why Isn't Paul Konerko More Loved By White Sox Fans?

358 home runs and 1,127 RBIs over 12 seasons in a White Sox uniform ought to be enough for any player to be beloved by the entire White Sox Nation.

However, for reasons I can't pin down, Paul Konerko is not revered universally by White Sox fans the way someone like Frank Thomas is.

With Konerko's free agency on the horizon there has been a lot of talk about resigning the 34-year-old first baseman not because of his stellar 2010 season, rather because he is the "face of the White Sox."

New York Yankees' Dominance over Twins Continues, Take Game 1

We’ve seen this movie before haven’t we? The Minnesota Twins jump out to a lead, the New York Yankees come back, the Twins get tight, and then Mariano Rivera comes in to close the door.

Omar-dest Proposal: Should Omar Vizquel Return to the Cleveland Indians?

Three things are a given in this offseason. First, Omar Vizquel will be a free agent and has only a year or two left in the tank. Second, the Indians need a third baseman for one year, and badly. Third, career-shortstop Vizquel spent last year at third base for the Chicago White Sox and wasn't too bad there.

So, wouldn't it make sense to bring back one of Cleveland's finest from the glory years of the '90s?

MLB Playoff Predictions 2010: Realistic Picks for First Round

In a perfect world, according to my most favorable teams they divisions would annually end something like this:

American League East: Baltimore Tampa Toronto Boston and New York

American League Central Minnesota Kansas City Detroit Chicago White Sox, Cleveland

American League West: Texas Oakland Los Angeles, Seattle

National League East: Florida, Washington, Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta

National League Central: Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Chicago, Houston, St. Louis

Choo-Se Wisely, Shin-Soo Tops Cleveland Indians 2010 Season Awards

The Indians' disappointing summer is finally over, finishing with a 69-93 record, but still beating out the Kansas City Royals for fourth place in the AL Central.

Before we look ahead to next season, let's hand out some awards for the Wahoo Warriors who deserve them most.

Not surprisingly, the Choo train tops the list.

New York Yankees-Minnesota Twins: Five Reasons The Twins Will Win ALDS Rematch

On first glance, it might be tempting to view the Twins' first-round playoff draw as a bad omen.

The New York Yankees swept Ron Gardenhire's crew last October en route to a World Series title, and they will come back for a rematch beginning Wednesday. The Yankee mystique, restored in full last fall and very much in play even now, will pose a challenge to the Twins from the first pitch onward.

Chicago White Sox Face Financial Issues Entering The 2010 Offseason

Though the Sox exceeded the expectations of many pre-season predictions, they still finished a distant second to the Twins and enter the off-season with some work to do.

Before we even talk about making any upgrades to the roster, the Sox have several major decisions to make regarding their current players. The team already has a number of sizable salary commitments and would need to make a few more to keep this same core together.

Money will be a big theme this off-season, and Kenny Williams will probably have to creative to improve this team.
