In the bottom of the second inning during the Oakland Athletics' contest against the Tampa Bay Rays, Marcus Semien drove a sharply hit ball right toward the A's dugout.

The A's ball boy was on the case, as he quickly entered the frame and made a Derek Jeter-esque dive to prevent the ball from nailing one of Oakland's pitchers.

The NL East-leading New York Mets made another depth move Saturday as they completed a waiver trade to reacquire outfielder Eric Young Jr.

According to the Mets' official Twitter account, they will send cash considerations to the Braves in exchange for Young, who will subsequently report to Triple-A Las Vegas.
