It's an exciting time for baseball fans.

Spring training games around MLB have begun, as fans now have the privilege of witnessing somewhat meaningful baseball for the first time since the World Series.

The Baltimore Orioles are hoping that the spring exhibition schedule provides some answers for the team's roster construction. As much of the roster is already set and most players tend to know their roles, there are still a few openings and some questions to be solved.

As spring training games are about to begin, Cincinnati Reds fans are curious as to what the team's Opening Day roster will look like.

Fans can probably guess the majority of the roster. This team is loaded with veteran players, so most of the roster positions are filled. However, there are a few position battles that will be played out this spring. 

This offseason, the Washington Nationals turned a nice roster into a World Series favorite with a handful of key acquisitions, but that's not such good news for some borderline big leaguers, who will now have to fight tooth and nail in spring training just to avoid cuts or demotions. 

From one through 24, Washington's Opening Day 25-man roster looks set in stone, save for a setback in Jayson Werth's recovery from shoulder surgery that would open up another spot. 

David Price, Jordan Zimmermann and Johnny Cueto are among the nastiest starters in baseball. The trio is also slated to headline the stacked 2016 MLB free-agent class.

Aces dominate next's years crop of big-money free agents, but there's also a few big bats to be found like Price's current teammate with the Detroit Tigers Yoenis Cespedes.

Spring training has begun in baseball, and the New York Mets are gearing up for what will hopefully be a successful 2015 season.

The Mets have a lot of big names on the team, such as David Wright, Curtis Granderson, Matt Harvey and Jacob deGrom, among others. But there are some under-the-radar players and prospects that should and hopefully will get more attention in the next month.

What follows is my take on what will wind up being the best and worst offseason move for each MLB team.

The Baltimore Orioles will be looking to get right back into things, as they will be looking to defend their AL East division crown from last season and will be striving to be serious contenders once again in a much improved American League.

The Los Angeles Dodgers underwent their first full workout of spring training this week, officially turning the page on a busy offseason and opening the 2015 chapter with high hopes.

With the increasing number of arm injuries to pitchers in baseball, talks of possibly going to a six-man rotation instead of the usual five have heated up.  

The idea is that with a six-man rotation, starters would not only be given more rest in between starts, but they would also be throwing fewer innings per season, which could increase their longevity by reducing the risk of devastating injuries.
