It’s hard to not get excited when projecting the future impacts of baseball’s top prospects. Unfortunately, with that excitement usually come unreasonable expectations, which, when not met, can cause younger players to be unfairly perceived as “disappointments.”

Overreacting to the daily results of our favorite teams is as much a part of baseball as batting practice, hot dogs and rain delays. Forget the whole "the regular season is a marathon, not a sprint" nonsense—fanatics don't want to hear it, and quite frankly, they aren't listening to those who say it anyway.

It's never too early to take a look at the production of potential MLB trade targets who could be on the move this summer. 

Each year, contending teams use the trade deadline to better position themselves for the season's final months. On the other hand, plenty of organizations dangle attractive trade chips in hopes of enticing a team into sending back a talented package of prospects. 

The Atlanta Braves have jumped out to a surprising 8-4 start in what is being considered a rebuilding season.

The Braves altered the makeup of their roster in the offseason to focus on restocking the farm system to build toward the future.

Time will tell whether or not the trades work out for the Braves.

However, there is no denying that John Hart seriously upgraded the minor league talent in the Braves farm system.

Everybody loves a high-scoring game, one that features multiple lead changes, a handful of big knocks—maybe even a moonshot or two—and a final score that more resembles your weekend softball league than what we've come to expect in Major League Baseball.

If you're looking for such a game, might I suggest taking a trip out to Colorado's Coors Field, the granddaddy of all hitter-friendly ballparks for the better part of two decades.

Back in spring training, before the real fake games began, as it were, we provided two sets of sleepers. It's time for a few more.

The first was a batch of 25 names to know, primarily for shallow leagues. The second set comprised 20 more players who qualified as even deeper sleepers.

Every MLB article you read over the season's first few weeks should come with that disclaimer. We're through 10 games, so it's way too early to make judgements on what we've seen over 2015's first few games. That goes for some underachieving teams, who are primed to take off as the season kicks in to high gear.

Fantasy baseball—just like the real thing—is a game of skill, luck and timing. That last trait in particular comes in handy in regard to getting value in the trading game.

Knowing which player(s) to trade away and which to deal for—and knowing just the right time to do so—can make all the difference.
