Tim Lincecum Video: Watch the Freak's Pitch at 1,000 Frames Per Second

Tim Lincecum is nicknamed "The Freak" for a reason, and this latest Red Bull video is further proof.

With one of only 50 cameras in the world that can follow a speeding bullet, the folks over at Red Bull decided to shoot Lincecum throwing a pitch at 1,000 frames per second.

The incredible part about Lincecum's motion is how far his arm extends behind his back before it catapults forward.

John Steigerwald Says Blame the Victim in Brutal Beating Outside Dodger Stadium

John Steigerwald, who writes a column for Observer-Reporter.com, places the blame for the beating out side of Dodger Stadium on Opening Day on the victim, San Francisco Giants fan, Bryan Stow.

He basically says Stow (which he originally spelled Snow, before the site corrected) was asking for it by wearing a Giants Jersey in Dodger country?

What is this, an episode of Gangland?

San Francisco Giants: Clayton Kershaw Picking Up Where the Padres Left off

For the second time in a row, Clayton Kershaw made Giants hitters look like little leaguers.

Last night, the southpaw allowed only six hits over 6.2 innings, striking out seven, while not allowing a single run.

He has now accumulated 13.2 scoreless innings against Giants this season, 22.2 dating back to 2010.

San Francisco Giants: The Slimmer Pablo "Panda" Sandoval

"Panda" went on a much needed diet, and the effects are showing. Sandoval has come out on a tear, leading the team with a .440 average. He also leads the team with a.481 OBP and 11 hits.

Sandoval, like a few Giants, may be playing this season with a chip on his shoulder after he was benched during the playoffs and didn't contribute much. Sandoval had an average of .268 last season after hitting .330 in his first full major league season.

San Francisco Giants: The Aaron Rowand Effect on the Giants

The San Francisco Giants are going to have many decisions to make in the outfield. Cody Ross will return from a torn calf injury in less than two weeks. The biggest decision of all may be what to do with outfielder Aaron Rowand.

San Francisco Giants: Giants' Sweet Torture Continues in Extra-Inning Affair

Aaron Rowand hits game-winning single in the bottom of the 12th inning and goes 2-for-3 in Giants' 5-4 win.

Looks like things have not changed much since last year.

The San Francisco Giants continued their victorious but torturous ways, as a sellout crowd at AT&T Park witnessed one of the greatest, yet weirdest games baseball fans will ever see.
