Eaton to Have Arthroscopic Surgery
Sunday, Oct. 4
Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reported the news on Eaton, who indicated he "should be fishing" two to three weeks after Monday's operation.
Eaton has posted a .904 OPS since the All-Star break, showing that he has some pop in his bat to go with exceptional speed that's seen him rack up 19 triples over the past two seasons. The 26-year-old seems to have a bright future in the Windy City with multiple years as a starter under his belt.
This impending surgery figures to be minor, providing Eaton with plenty of time to get to 100 percent before the 2016 campaign begins.
