Albert Pujols Is The Best Hitter To Ever Play Baseball

When it is all said and done, and his career is over, Albert Pujols will be the best hitter to ever play the game of baseball. He is 29 years old, had 2 MVP awards, and World Series ring, two National League pennants, and a 7-time all star. Here are some of his career statistics-

  • Batting Average- .344
  • Hits- 1,531
  • Doubles- 342
  • Home Runs- 318
  • RBI's- 977
  • Slugging Percentage- .624

Pujols has also won many other awards. He won a gold glove in 2006, he has won four Silver Slugger awards. He was voted unanimously Rookie of the Year in 2001, he is a two time Sporting News Player of the Year.

He won the Hank Aaron award in 2003, he was the NLCS MVP in 2004. He won the Roberto Clemente award in 2008, and he was chosen by other NL players as Player of the Year in 2008.

Pujols was voted as the most feared hitter in the National League by National League pitchers. If he plays until he is 38 years old, he are his statistics.

  • Hits- 3,062
  • Doubles- 684
  • Home Runs- 636
  • RBI's- 1,954

That is just doubling his numbers. If God willing, he will play longer. And if healthy, which he missed a month in 2007, and also two weeks in 2006, will have better numbers.
