Barry Bonds Perjury Trial: Should We Believe Former Mistress Kimberly Bell?

Former mistress of Barry Bonds, Kimberly Bell has testified in court.  Bell claimed Bonds told her steroids were the reason behind an elbow injury from 1999.  Bell also told jurors Bonds was violent with her and threatened her on more than one occasion.  In addition, Bell made the assertion that the size of Bonds’ testicles had shrunken.

Bell’s creditably is diminutive enough being that she was mistress.  The fact that she carried on a relationship with Bonds knowing he was a married man is evidence enough to most people that she is a dishonest person.  Now that their relationship has ended, it’s assumed that she has some sort of grudge against Bonds.

Now that Bell’s meal ticket is out of the picture, her feelings of resentment can only be thrived upon in the courtroom.

Bell was cross examined for the majority of her time in the courtroom.  The idea of her being a mistress can discredit her word to the most the jurors, but for the rest of the jurors, mortgage documents were also brought into the equation.  The defense showed that she lied on a federal document by stating that a home in Arizona was a secondary not a primary.

The reason behind bringing up the said evidence against Bell in this trial is to further display her discreditably.  Bell’s word alone should not be strong enough to persuade jurors or anyone in either direction in this trial. Bringing Bell into the case has just been a waste of time.
