Braves OF Eury Perez Holds Glove Up After Fruitless Diving Catch Attempt

Atlanta Braves outfielder Eury Perez did everything right. He tracked the ball, chased it down, dove and pointed his glove skyward to show the umpire.

Hold on, he missed a step—actually catching the ball.

Perez did get some leather on it, but the ball appeared to slip out once his glove hit the grass. This isn’t quite on Nick Young’s level, but it’s still pretty humbling for the 25-year-old.
