Breaking News: Alfredo Simon Out For Season

On April 22, the Baltimore Orioles have announced that pitcher Simon is out for season and will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery in his elbow.

This is a big blow at an already thin rotation meaning that rookie pitcher Brad Bergesen will permanently stay in this starting rotation.

The injury happened in the second inning of his second start against the Texas Rangers. There were some hope that he would be able to rehab the injury and return this season but was unsuccessful.

In my opinion, the Orioles are in a hole that may cause them to call up one of their young promising pitchers form the minors.

This is a big blow for our O's.
