According to the LA Times, rookie pitcher, Nick Adenhart of the Anaheim Angels died in a car crash after last night’s game versus the Oakland Athletics.
A driver ran a red light, killing three people, including the blue-chip prospect. Adenhart, 22, made his season debut last night pitching six innings, striking out five with no earned runs.
This is tragic news to the sporting world. Adenhart was the future ace of the Angels and very much had a bright future ahead of him.
Everybody at 50MC has Adenhart, his family, and the families of the two other passengers in their prayers today.
