Breaking News: Mets Trade Church To Braves for Francoeur

Just saw on ESPN.com and SNY's Loud Mouth's:

The Atlanta Braves send Jeff Francoeur to the New York Mets for Ryan Church.

Mets fans....what do you think of the deal? Lets hear it?

Personally, I think it's a good deal for both teams.

It seemed like Jerry Manuel never liked Ryan Church, especially after the missed third base blunder and Francoeur just seemed like he ran his course in Atlanta.

Apparently Francoeur was always welcomed to playing in New York and now has gotten his wish. He's 25 and can still be fixed, so Francoeur does have a major upside.

Church gets out of New York and probably out of Jerry Manuel's doghouse and will probably be hitting 5th or 6th in Bobby Cox's lineup in Atlanta.
