While at Marlins Park, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz did his best Giancarlo Stanton impersonation.
In the top of the second inning of Wednesday afternoon's game against the Miami Marlins, Big Papi crushed a solo shot halfway up the upper deck in right field. There was no doubt about it from the moment the ball left the bat.
Ortiz has hit his fair share of home runs in his career, but this one ranks up there with his most majestic shots.
Big Papi wasn't done, however. He lined a two-run home run over the right-field wall in the seventh inning, giving him 25 for the season.
Miami was able to withstand Ortiz's multi-homer game and cruise to a 14-6 victory. With the two dingers, Big Papi (491) is now just nine home runs from 500 for his career.
