Giants Need To Start Winning Now

The Giants have a 2-5 record going into tonight's game against the Dodgers.

Granted, it's early in the season, but for a team like the Giants, they need to start picking up the pace, and win ballgames.

The Giants have had the problem for a few years about going young, and it seemed like the ownership shy-ed away from that for some reason.

Yes, it was difficult to go young right away, after all the team's center piece for many years was Barry Bonds (the home run king).

Bonds was a great player for the Giants, every single year he put on that uniform for the Giants. Yes, he attracted a lot of bad attention to the clubhouse, something the Giants didn't want, but they stuck by Bonds with his problems.

When Bonds left, they went a lot younger and drafted a lot of good talent; Talent that you will see very soon, like, Madison Baumgarner, Buster Posey, Tim Alderson, Connor Gillespie, and much more.

The Giants went from a playoff contending team each year, to a team that is trying not to get 100 losses during a year.

I think the Giants will be more competitive this year, but it has to show with wins too.

The Giants aren't built to come back from a losing record, and gain up on opposing teams in their division. Their just not, because many of those players are inexperienced, and those players that do have experience are not in their prime as they once were.

The Giants need to have a good April to start off this season, and have some confidence going in that clubhouse.

I'm a die-hard Giants fan, and I hope very soon the Giants can make some noise in the major leagues, and be recognized as a team on the rise.

We shall see...starting tonight.
