Hey Dodger Fans: Remember When?

Isn't it amazing how sports shape our perceptions of people?

Remember just two years ago when Barry Bonds was chasing the all-time home run record? Who gave him the most grief on the road?

Dodger fans.

The same Dodger fans who have turned their head to the fact that their guy actually was caught for PEDs. The same Dodger fans who doesn't believe that Bonds could have taken steroids unknowingly doesn't think or doesn't care what Manny Ramirez does, because he's their guy now.

Remember those fans who waved asterisks in the air and chanted "steroids, steroids," every time Bonds came to the plate?

Those are the same fans who drove to San Diego this weekend and took over Petco Park because of the return of Manny.

It's not the only example of hometown fans non-acknowledgement of their hometown players use of PEDs.

Red Sox fans tortured Bonds as well in his visit to Fenway Park in 2007, but continued to cheer the Patriots' Rodney Harrison after he was suspended for the first four games of the 2007 season.

For each one of Barry Bonds 762 career home runs, there is 10,000 Dodger fans who are hypocrites.
