Mother Nature is causing a wild scene at Wrigley Field on Monday night.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs are doing their best to get their game in before impending storms arrive in the Windy City. As the system made its way over Wrigley Field, it created a breathtaking sky.
Imagine going to a ballgame, looking up and seeing that. There have to be lots of fans sitting in the stands just in awe.
Crazily, this isn't the first time that Chicago has played under such an unusual sky. Last season, an orange sky blanketed Great American Ball Park while the Cubs took on the Cincinnati Reds—also due to storms.
The incredible sky was just the start of a wild night at Wrigley Field. The game was also delayed in the bottom of the sixth inning because some of the stadium's lights went out, per CSN Chicago's Patrick Mooney:
The game would eventually resume, with the Cubs playing under protest, and Chicago went on to win, 4-2.
