Justin Turner Steals Second After Helmet Flies Off & Blocks Ehire Adrianza's Tag

Justin Turner can thank his helmet for this one.

The Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman's break for second during Andre Ethier's fourth-inning at-bat on Wednesday didn't look promising after Buster Posey's quick throw, but things got a little weird when he sent his helmet flying upon hitting the dirt.

The helmet blocked San Francisco Giants shortstop Ehire Adrianza's tag, giving him his third stolen base of the season.

Turner, however, never made it home. The Dodgers, who are looking to sweep the Giants, carried their one-run lead into the fifth inning.
