Well, this is fitting. 

With the New York Mets trailing the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 on Monday, Lucas Duda's solo shot ended up in the most appropriate hands possible on Memorial Day: those of someone who has served in the military.

The homer tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the third inning.
