Red Sox vs. Indians ALDS Game 2: Live Score and Highlights

FINAL SCORE UPDATE:   Indians 6, Red Sox 0 (Cleveland leads best-of-five, 2-0)

Corey Kluber had not pitched in 10 days, but there were no signs of rust as he silenced the Boston Red Sox vaunted attack and led his team to a 6-0 victory in the American League Division Series.

The Indians won both of their home games at Progressive Field, and they will go to Boston Sunday with a chance to close out the series.

Lonnie Chisenhall hammered a three-run homer off of David Price in the second inning and that gave Cleveland a 4-0 lead. The Red Sox were never able to solve Kluber, who pitched seven-plus innings and gave up three hits and three walks while striking out seven.

After Sandy Leon and Jackie Bradley Jr. reached in the seventh on a walk and a hit by pitch, relief pitchers Dan Otero and Bryan Shaw closed out the Red Sox in the final two innings.

The key to Cleveland's success was the ability to hold the Red Sox big hitters in check. Mookie Betts, David Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez combined for one hit in 11 at bats against the Indians' pitching staff.

The two teams will meet in Game Three on Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.
