I'm sorry O's fans: it's the truth.
The Orioles might have made some good additions such as Kevin Millwood to lead the young pitching staff and Mike Gonzalez to close out games, but neither has paid out yet.
Gonzalez blew his first two saves but is now on the disabled list after having trouble with his shoulder. Millwood hasn't even picked up a win yet, due to the bullpen and weak offense.
Baltimore is also home to some talent in Matt Wieters, Brian Roberts, Miguel Tejada, and Nick Markakis.
They seemed like they were going to get back on track this year, but the Orioles have started 4-17.
Here are all the positions they struggle with: 1B, SS, SP, RP, LF.
The infield positions can be filled with the young talent they have, but the starting rotation and the bullpen need to step up.
It seems like it is going to be a couple of years before this team is going to contend for baseball in October, considering the fact that they play in the AL East.
Things are already looking bad for the O's.
