Players are always listed too high for the amount of use they will get, whether you realize it or not.
Sometimes a player jumps up the list even though they had a serious injury during the season. Often they are a name frequently used that are actually not that good of a player that got a huge salary.
Then the most obvious fanasty killer, the player you decided to pick up has become a very aged veteran who you did not realize will lose time this season and whose numbers will deplete or you picked a very young player that might even spend time in the minor leagues but whose name gets passed around lot as a name of the future.
Either way, never take a name that you know was good in the past or who is suppose to shine in the far future. Neither of those end up helping you this season, when doing a fanasty team you are looking for the highest clip of a players career and hoping not to end up drafting a benched player.
Look for hidden value, not for name price.
Here are the top five names are overranked and are either not that good, too young, too old or injured.
