Milton Bradley is a hot head. He has some anger management issues that are well documented. Bradley is more likely to explode within his own head than have the ball explode off his bat, but he has the talent and potential to really contribute to a team’s offensive success.

After a tough first week that saw them go 2-4 on a six-game road trip, the Chicago Cubs came home to the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field to face the Milwaukee Brewers in their 2010 home opener Monday. Behind starter Ryan Dempster, the Cubbies earned a 9-5 victory.

New Cub Xavier Nady, getting a start in right field against Milwaukee's left-handed starter Doug Davis, broke a third-inning tie when he belted a three-run home run, and Chicago never looked back.

There have been lots of great moments over the course of Major League Baseball history. Heroic home runs, brilliant pitching performances, and record chasing adventures have captivated baseball fans and non-fans for about a century now,

So, with that, I bring you some of my top moments in baseball history. These are personal choices, moments that for me transcend the game of baseball.

With the fall of the pictured Joe Nathan, the American League was rocked.

As it should be. A Closer/Relief Ace is the primary guy in the bullpen, and the one stable asset in what is a volatile part of any team. But what men are true "relief aces" among the ranks of current AL closers, and what men live off of big moment reputations and a "closer's mentality". One of the biggest stories of this young baseball season has been the play of 20-year phenom and NL Rookie of the Year candidate Jason Heyward of the Braves.

Every team hopes to strike gold and draft the next superstar player, and when a player comes out and dominates in his first season, it always seems to garner a great deal of attention.

With that, I have decided to name what I feel are the top ten rookie seasons in baseball history.

There is almost nothing like the start of the regular season for baseball fans.

Enthusiasm abounds. At the start of the season, every team is even (yes, the Yankees and Red Sox are always favored, but all teams begin together).

The Colorado Rockies are 3-3.

The reality is, the Rockies should be 5-1.

"Good pitching beats good hitting."

Thanks for the insight, Grandpa, but times have changed.

An updated version of that old baseball motto should read, "Good pitching with no hitting, will get you nowhere."

A perfect example of this is the 2010 Chicago White Sox.

They have a rotation that rivals any team in baseball and a lineup that rivals any team that has ever lost 90 games in a season.

Yes, the Braves truly got their hats handed to them this evening, with a 17-2 crushing at the hands of the San Diego Padres. However, Braves fans should take heart, because as bad as this beating seemed, in the great scheme of things, it's only one game out of 162, and no matter how badly you lose, it counts in the standings just as much as a 3-2 heart breaker.

Besides, it's no worse then some of the other defeats the Braves have suffered over the years. Want proof?
