Are The Red Sox Returning to Renteria, Lugo With Large Scutaro Contract?

With the Boston Red Sox signing of former Toronto Blue Jay Marco Scutaro to (hopefully) become the steady shortstop until Jose Iglesias is ready for full-time duty (approximately the 2012 season).

Boston Red Sox to Play in Australia in 2010?

Sometimes professional sports leagues do things I really just don’t understand.

With only a few days left until the Winter Meetings (my favorite non-baseball season week of the year), nobody really has any idea what is going on with the Red Sox.

If first you don’t succeed, try, try, try, and try again.

Boston Red Sox GM Theo Epstein has tried and tried and tried to find a replacement at shortstop for Nomar Garciaparra ever since he traded the star shortstop in the summer of 2003.

Perhaps tonight, he has finally tried and succeeded.

Talk about anticlimactic.

Smart, but anticlimactic.
