Javier the Los Angeles Dodgers ball boy tried to make a highlight-reel catch during Sunday's game, but instead, he will likely end up on some blooper reels.

In the top of the fifth inning, Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart sliced a ball down the left-field line. Javier got in position to try to make the catch and jumped for the ball, but he came up empty.

And he tumbled backward over the wall.

Justin Upton Accidentally Hits Teammate Yonder Alonso in Head with Helmet


San Diego Padres left fielder Justin Upton was not happy after getting caught stealing in the top of the eighth inning of Saturday night's game against the Colorado Rockies, and he inadvertently took out his frustrations on teammate Yonder Alonso.

Upton swung his helmet in disgust as he walked through the dugout toward the bat rack. While he was just trying to let off some steam, he ended up losing control of his helmet—which hit an unaware Alonso in the head.

Nationals Turn Sharp Grounder into Wild Out vs. Giants


The Washington Nationals pulled off what may go down as the most spectacular groundout to the right side of the infield in MLB history Saturday night.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford ripped a sharp grounder between first baseman Clint Robinson and second baseman Anthony Rendon. Robinson tried to snag the grounder with a dive, but he ended up deflecting the ball into the air.
