Fredi Gonzalez, Braves Agree to New Contract: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

The Atlanta Braves and manager Fredi Gonzalez have agreed to a contract extension that will keep him with the team for at least one more season.   

Per the Braves' official Twitter account, Gonzalez's deal has been extended through 2016 and includes a team option for 2017. 

Bryce Harper Gives Fan PlayStation 4 at 2015 MLB All-Star Parade


While the MLB All-Star Parade is a chance for the fans to cheer the biggest stars in baseball, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper used this year's parade in Cincinnati as an opportunity to give back to the fans.

At the parade, the 22-year-old hopped out of his truck and gave away a PlayStation 4 to a lucky fan.


Love him or hate him on the field, there's no denying that this was a very cool gesture by the young star.

MLB Reveals 'Franchise Four,' Top Players in Every Team's History

Some of the best to ever play the game joined the festivities for the 86th Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park

Before the game, MLB revealed its "Franchise Four," naming the four greatest players in each organization's history as well as the league's best.

MLB All-Star Game 2015: Latest News and Notes for Midsummer Classic

The 86th annual All-Star game will take place at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The festivities, though, got started off with a few bangs on Monday night with baseball's Home Run Derby.  

Todd Frazier seemed all too comfortable in his home park as he did something he'd done 15 times before in 2015: hit a ball into the red-shirted screaming fans beyond the outfield wall.
