Although Major League Baseball spent the offseason looking for ways to speed up games, it didn't come up with a way to prevent bees from taking over stadiums and causing delays.

During Sunday's spring training game between the Kansas City Royals and the Los Angeles Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, a massive swarm of bees showed up and caused a couple of delays.

Washington Nationals center fielder Denard Span will miss an undisclosed period after undergoing surgery to repair a damaged right core muscle injury.

On the heels of a strong 2014 campaign, starting pitcher Chris Young has finally found a new home with the Kansas City Royals.
