Brian Dozier, Twins Agree to New Contract: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

With the 2015 regular season on the horizon, the Minnesota Twins locked up one of their key pieces by signing second baseman Brian Dozier to a contract extension.

According to the Twins' official Twitter account, the 27-year-old middle infielder inked a four-year deal:

Kris Bryant is certainly making a strong case this spring that he belongs on the Chicago Cubs' 25-man roster come Opening Day. The 23-year-old phenom continued his torrid spring Saturday, ripping two home runs in the team's exhibition contest against the Seattle Mariners.

Thanks to great hustle, Atlanta Braves first baseman Joey Terdoslavich turned what might be the oddest unassisted double play in baseball history during Saturday's spring training game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, St. Louis had Yadier Molina at third and Dean Anna on first with nobody out. When the Cardinals' Kolten Wong hit a chopper to Terdoslavich at first base, chaos ensued.

While many in the United States were stressing about their NCAA tournament brackets Friday, Los Angeles Dodgers fans received a bit of a scare when ace Clayton Kershaw took a broken-bat line drive to the face.

In the bottom of the third inning of Friday's spring training game against the Oakland Athletics, a line drive off the bat of Oakland's Andy Parrino struck Kershaw in the side of the face.

Adam Eaton, White Sox Agree on New Contract: Latest Details and Reaction

The work of Chicago White Sox general manager Rick Hahn hasn't slowed down even in spring training, as the team worked out a long-term contract extension with center fielder Adam Eaton on Friday.   

According to the White Sox's official Twitter, Eaton's new deal is for five years with two option years that could run through the 2021 season:
