The New York Mets had every reason to plan on Matt Harvey being one of baseball's best pitchers this season. When healthy, he generally hasn't known how to be anything else.

But now the Mets should find themselves inching back toward the drawing board. And not just so they can change the section marked "2016 Plans."

In this day and age, you can make a wager on just about anything.

Who wins a game, by how much, what color the Gatorade (in the Gatorade bath) will be, how long the national anthem will be—there is truly an endless number of things bookies will take bets on.

Like unicorns, leprechauns and Mark Trumbo's plate discipline, underrated stars are supposed to be a myth. The term itself is contradictory—if someone is a star, they're both well-known and lauded for their talent in whatever field they're in. That hardly meets the criteria for the underrated label.
