A controversial four-run rally in the seventh inning propelled the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-2 home win over the New York Mets in Game 2 of their National League Division Series on Saturday night, tying the series at one game apiece.

The New York Mets announced shortstop Ruben Tejada suffered a fractured right fibula following a takeout slide from Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley in the seventh inning of Saturday night's National League Division Series matchup.

The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals will face off Monday at Wrigley Field in Game 3 of the National League Division Series.

After being shut out Friday, the Chicago Cubs rode a five-run second inning to a 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 2 of the National League Division Series to even things at one game apiece Saturday.

Jorge Soler provided the big blast in the second, hitting a two-run home run to Busch Stadium's center field, but Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia opened the door for that inning before that.

The Los Angeles Dodgers evened the NLDS at 1-1 with a 5-2 victory over the New York Mets. L.A. scored four runs in the seventh inning for the comeback victory. After a questionable Chase Utley slide, Adrian Gonzalez delivered for the Dodgers with a two-RBI double to put the Dodgers ahead. 

Game 3 will take place in New York Sunday night at 8:37 p.m. ET.

The St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets jumped out to 1-0 leads as the National League Division Series kicked off Friday night. As expected, pitching took center stage, as there were just eight runs scored in the two games combined.

Final Score: Cubs 6, Cardinals 3

A crazy second inning that saw St. Louis commit a pair of errors and Chicago score five runs was ultimately the difference in Game 2 of the NLDS between the longtime rivals which is now tied at one game apiece.

Jorge Soler, who got the start in right field over Kyle Schwarber, reached base four times, going 2-for-2 with a mammoth solo home run and a pair of walks, while Travis Wood, Trevor Cahill and Hector Rondon provided the Cubs with 4.1 innings of scoreless relief.

Fact: Mets vs. Dodgers was the 1st game in postseason history in which each starter had at least 11 strikeouts.
