Cliff Lee vs. New York Yankees

Personally witnessing Cliff Lee manhandle the New York Yankees in two different uniforms, at both Yankee Stadiums, was far from fun.

All I can say is Cliff Lee is that good.

MLB Trade Rumors: Cincinnati Reds Prospects for Sale

That's the newest Cincinnati outfielder, Gary Matthews Jr.

If the Reds' skipper wasn't such good pals with his pop, they would trade him for a warm six-pack and a couple of Slim Jims.

Rather than someone that no one would want, let's take a look at some Reds' needs and some prospects they may be willing to trade.

White Sox Winning Streak Comes To an End: What Now?

It’s over folks. The winning streak has come to an end.

After winning 11 games in a row, the Chicago White Sox were finally defeated and once again, it was at the hands of the Chicago Cubs.

As the White Sox walked off the field as losers for only the second time in their last 17 games, what’s next for the South Siders?

The last time a White Sox team won 10 games in a row was in 1976. Good right? Well, that team also lost 10 games in a row that season as well. Uh oh.

Could this team possibly repeat that? Not likely.

Milwaukee Brewers: Why Corey Hart's Hot and Prince Fielder's Not

This is a breakout season for Milwaukee Brewers rightfielder Corey Hart.

He's making amends for the bad first month of the 2010 season.

And, Hart is winning over the fans who thought he was too proud to take the club's $4.2 million offer.

Hart turned it down and forced the Brewers to go to arbitration.

He didn't even deserve that much because he was hurt last season, and his production declined.

Now, Hart looks like a genius, after not only winning a $4.8 million deal, but also staying hot at the plate.

Wish You Were Here: Former Oakland A's Currently on Other Teams

The A's have had plenty of talent leave Oakland over the years.

Regardless of the fact that the team has had a three-peat of World Series wins in the 1970s, and remains competitive in a small-market, it seems that the Athletics get lost in a league that is dominated by big-market teams like the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

The departure of talent from the East Bay can be attributed to three things:

1) The city of Oakland. The A's need to separate themselves from the Raiders and Mt. Davis.

Can't Blame Jorge! Without Posada, A.J. Burnett Still Sucks

Can everyone please stop talking about a rift between Yankees catcher Jorge Posada  and starting pitcher A.J. Burnett?

The fact is, Burnett is just not a $82.5 million pitcher. He is too inconsistent.

I was never a fan of my favorite team acquiring Burnett before the 2009 season. He did however tame my doubts a bit last season.

Atlanta Braves: Chipper Jones Heating Up, Extends Hit-Streak to 10 Games

Fear not Braves fans; Chipper Jones has apparently found his stroke after a painfully slow start to the 2010-2011 season.

Extended his hitting-streak to 10 games on Saturday with a three-run home runs, and his bat is looking livelier than it has for a long time.

During the streak, he's batting .389 with 10 RBI, 6 runs, 2 home runs, and two stolen bases. He has five walks and struck out six. The streak also includes three multi-hit games.

Do You Remember 2007 When Joe Torre Was Our Hero?

It felt like a heat wave in New York City on that October 8 night back in 2007.

Fans were funneling into Yankee Stadium extra early for Game 4 of the ALDS .

Inter-League Soap Opera: Dodger Blue vs. Yankee Pinstripes

With inter-league play concluding this weekend, the New York Yankees head into Dodger
