Since making his MLB debut in 2007, Cincinnati Reds catcher Ryan Hanigan has without a doubt been a valuable asset to the Reds organization.

As both a backup catcher and a spot starter, Hanigan has proven himself to be a clutch hitter and a solid defender behind the plate.

The New York Yankees are searching for a solution to solve their pitching rotation cataclysm, and Francisco Liriano of the Minnesota Twins could be the arm for the job.

Major League Baseball is filled with young talent.

Some of these men have been highly touted, while some of them are still flying under the radar. As they continue to fill up the sheets, fans will recognize their talents by late September. 

There are a couple stipulations to this list: 

1. They made "The Show" no earlier than the 2010 season.

 2. They have played a game for their respective club already.  

These next 25 guys are the new generation and future of baseball.

If the season ended today, the National League playoff picture would look remarkably similar to the scene last October.

The Detroit Tigers have a glaring hole at second base this season. 

Will Rhymes, Scott Sizemore, and Ryan Raburn haven't fared well in their time at second.  The Tigers' front office suggests that they will address the position internally (likely with the return of Carlos Guillen from the DL) rather than with a trade. 

With the July 31 trade deadline about to hit center-stage, rumors and speculation will be at no shortage.

This year, names such as Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, Heath Bell and B.J. Upton have become the primary names associated with trade rumors.  Without question, many players will be moved as the deadline approaches.

The only problem is, what rumors are worth believing?

Since the minds of many general managers around the league are anything but predictable, let's go over a few trade rumors and label them as fact or fiction.

Leading the way in the MLB Trade rumor department is a report from Buster Olney, in which he says the Detroit Tigers are asking around about pitching, while another floating rumor that has the Phillies being pegged as "front runners" for three bullpen pitchers from San Diego.

Fresh off the All-Star break, the Braves are primed to continue their chase of the Philadelphia Phillies.

While they're bats have been cold, they're pitching has been red hot as they boast one of the best staffs in all of baseball.

Read ahead as I peer through my crystal ball and make predictions about the end of the year.

Atlanta Braves 3B Chipper Jones has been placed on the 15-day DL with a torn meniscous and will miss the 2011 MLB All-Star Game. Philadelphia Phillies skipper Charlie Manuel came out Saturday and said that it is likely All-Star 3B Placido Palanco will miss Sunday's game, and very well could miss the All-Star game.
