Pump Your Fist, Tribe Fans; Pronk Could Be Back to Form

There aren't many bright things to say about the Cleveland Indians season so far.

Cliff Lee is 0-2.

Carl Pavano may be a bust.

Grady Sizemore already has 10 strikeouts.

Trevor Crowe has anger issues!!!

Of course, there is one thing that the Indians players, coaches, and fans should be excited about. His name is Travis Hafner.

Despite his poor average and lack of power, Hafner has done better than some may think the past few seasons.

Tigers-White Sox: How Will the Tigers Follow Up Their Sweep?

Fresh off a sweep of the Texas Rangers, the Detroit Tigers will turn their attention to the Chicago White Sox for a three-game set at Comerica Park.

The White Sox are coming off a home series with the Minnesota Twins in which they took two of three, including an impressive win against Francisco Liriano.

The Tigers will look to extend their best home start in 16 years against the defending AL Central champions.

Game One: Monday, April 13 @ 1:05 PM ET

Live From Vegas: 2009 Home Run King Odds

"It's outta here."

Las Vegas lists 50 players odds to be the 2009 Home Run King. While I'm waiting to post Part 2 of the Mets/Phillies debate, I thought you would like to see those players 20/1 and less. If you don't see your favorite here, leave a comment and I'll let you know. No real surprises of those listed but at least to me a lot of suprises forr those who are over 20/1.

A Look at the American League's Young Players

Major league baseball teams are beginning to become younger and younger. This season especially, teams are looking to their younger players to help guide them to wins. Here is an in-depth look at every teams' young players on the rise in the American League.

Giants Starting Pitching Rotation

SAN FRANCISCO — The Giants' final few roster decisions hinge mostly on how many pitchers the team will carry to start the season, and a 12-man staff appears to be most popular with team officials.

"We are really leaning more toward 12 at this point," manager Bruce Bochy said Friday, "but that doesn't mean it couldn't change in the next couple of days."

The Giants don't have to announce their Opening Day roster until Sunday at noon.

Earlier this spring, the Giants appeared to favor opening with 11 pitchers to have greater flexibility among the position players.

It turns out the club probabl

Houston Astros Drop Game 2 @ St. Louis in a Blowout

I felt like I was serving a court ordered punishment watching this game today.

Instead of posting a pitching line for the Houston hurlers I'm just gonna post this:

Albert Pujols 2-4, 2 HR, 7 RBI.

I need to puke.

Oswalt's game was dealing.

Houston looked like they were going to be in good shop, with two runners on in each of the first 3 innings. However they couldn't drive any runs across and missed out on all three opportunities.

Royals' Prospect Kila Ka'aihue Continues To Hit In Omaha

Kila Ka'aihue, while his name is hard to pronounce, is a very promising young player in the Kansas City Royals' organization.

Ka'aihue had a magnificent year in '08 when he hit 37 homers with a .314 average and 100 RBI.

He then found himself in the big leagues in September where he hit his first major league home run.

This spring some thought maybe Kila could make the big league team. But with a log-jam at first, he was sent down to Omaha. Some guys in Kila's situation might pout and see his numbers drop, but not Kila.
