If you like talented rookies with your Major League Baseball, the 2015 season is the treat you've been waiting for.

As we noted recently, an invasion of young players that began a couple of years ago has hit its zenith in 2015. Many of baseball's best prospects have arrived, and as a bonus, some unheralded youngsters have also broken through and shown star potential.

While there's no official date on the baseball calendar, it's widely accepted that the conclusion of MLB's first-year player draft signals the unofficial start of trade season in baseball. Teams shift their focus from the amateurs to the professionals, looking for the piece (or pieces) that will propel them to success.

With the MLB draft now behind us, the summer trade season is just around the corner, and the rumor mill should start heating up in the days and weeks to come.

Last year's trade deadline set the bar high, as it was one of the busiest in recent memory.

David Price, Jon Lester, Yoenis Cespedes, Austin Jackson, John Lackey and many others were on the move in the days leading up to the July 31 deadline, following the blockbuster deal that sent Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel to Oakland earlier in the month.

From Madison Bumgarner to Clayton Kershaw and Felix Hernandez, there are some familiar names that hit the list in the process of projecting each MLB team's ace five years from now.

Of course, there are also plenty of unfamiliar faces on the slides that follow. After all, five years is a long time, and lots can change between now and the start of the 2020 campaign. Some of the starters who made the cut have yet to throw a professional pitch, while others are prominent prospects who are on the verge of making the majors.

The 2015 MLB draft results are in from Day 2 of the festivities, which means it's time to start jumping to conclusions.

It's always a dangerous game to judge a pick before a given player has signed—let alone stepped onto a diamond for a professional club—but there are already prospects and teams that are looking like winners and losers at this early juncture.

Although it takes a while for top baseball prospects to become household names, every franchise is looking for a brighter future through the MLB draft.

Unlike the NBA or NFL draft, where players are expected to contribute right away, those taken in the baseball draft—whether they come from high school or college—often need seasoning in the minors. Still, there are plenty of players available with tons of upside on the mound, in the field or at the plate.

From Johnny Cueto to Ben Zobrist, there are certain big leaguers who have a big chance of getting traded before the 2015 MLB trade deadline passes.

Simply put, the most likely trade chips are good players on bad teams. The righty ace and the Swiss Army Knife of baseball both fit that bill. Cueto and Zobrist aren't the only players on the Cincinnati Reds and the Oakland Athletics, respectively, who crack a spot on this top 10.

But no team is better represented on the list than the Philadelphia Phillies.

The ignored sibling of sports selection processes, the MLB amateur draft doesn't receive all-out fanfare due to its unpredictability.

More than any other major sport, superstars are snagged in late rounds while top picks fizzle spectacularly. Signability issues also cloud the event, and patience is required with prospects spending years honing their craft in the minor leagues.

While the five underachievers who crack this unfortunate list have all been major disappointments so far, it's not time to write them off just yet. The most compelling reason for why they're all poised for loud turnarounds is that they all boast impressive big league resumes.
