Last year, Ken Griffey Jr. retired, and with him went one of the sweetest swings in MLB history. Every time he swung the bat it was a work of art, as he was so smooth and made it look so effortless.

Now it is time to re-evaluate MLB and find the top 10 sweetest swings in the game. Albert Pujols claims the top spot, as he has is so powerful at the plate but makes it look so effortless, almost like Griffey.

The Phillies did what many "experts" well, expected Thursday by taking two out of three from the Mets. The Phillies showed great character and poise by rebounding from a dismal series opener in which one of their four aces, Cole Hamels threw a dud.Their offense was pretty offensive (not a good thing here) as well as they were shellacked seven to one.

The Braves, known as the oldest continuously operating professional sports franchise in America, have seen their fair share of ups and downs during their time in Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta.

Since the franchise first sent players onto the field as Boston Red Stockings in 1871, there have been a countless number of influential players to play for the organization, especially pitchers.

After a failed attempt at a career as a professional baseball player, Billy Beane decided to try his hand in the front office. In 1998, he became the General Manager of the Oakland Athletics. Over the past 13 years, Billy has broken the hearts of the Oakland faithful numerous times by trading away some of the A's best talent for players who are relatively unknown. One of the most important things in the MLB is a team's uniform. Many people judge teams off their appearance and it is very important for a team to look good in front of their fans. Many different things determine a good uniform, ranging from the color to the stripes to the logo. Uniforms can be influential and famous, like the Yankee pinstripes. Each team aims to have the best uniform, but ultimately it is up for the fans to decide. With that said, here are the 10 best uniforms in the MLB.
