CBSSports.com and Bleacher Report are teaming up to offer a special package for a fantasy baseball league.

This league will be a six by six league with the offensive categories being:
Batting average, home runs, runs batted in, runs, net stolen bases, and on base plus slugging percentage.
The pitching categories will be:
Earned run average, strikeouts, saves, wins minus losses, quality starts, and walks/hits per innings pitched.
This is a relatively standard league aside from the stolen bases category being altered to net stolen bases, and wins being altered to wins minus losses. Also, quality starts is now a category, which could potentially alter the way teams are drafted. On base plus slugging percentage (OPS) is also a category because I feel that tells the story of success at the plate more than other statistics.
Each category win per weak will be a win, which means if you lose 7-5 you still get five wins rather than a simple loss.
The active positions are:
One C, one 1B, one 2B, one 3B, one SS, one MI, one CI, three OF, one UTIL, five SP, and four RP.
There will be five spots for reserves, and two spots for injured players. This means the draft will be 26 total rounds. If there are any questions about the rules and or players please either post a comment or e-mail me at BDuronio@gmail.com.
