Gregerson Placed on DL

Per the Astros' official Twitter account, Gregerson was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique. 

Already boasting a lineup with outstanding young hitters, the Boston Red Sox are adding another one to the mix by calling up top prospect Andrew Benintendi from Double-A Portland.

The Red Sox officially announced Benintendi's promotion on Twitter.

The seventh overall pick in last year's draft, Benintendi's stock has done nothing but rise in the 13 months he's been in the Red Sox farm system.

Cleveland Indians pitcher Danny Salazar will miss at least two weeks because of an injury to his pitching elbow that forced him to the disabled list. It is uncertain when he will return to action.

Chernoff Comments on Salazar's MRI, Timeline for Return

Indians general manager Mike Chernoff told MLB Network Radio that Salazar's MRI "came back clean," adding that the team is "hoping he doesn't miss too many starts."

The Braves announced Tuesday on Twitter that Teheran was placed on the 15-day disabled list due to a right lat strain. 

Fact: The New York Mets traded for Cincinnati Reds right fielder Jay Bruce on Monday, per ESPN's Adam Rubin. Bruce has 25 home runs and 80 runs batted in this season—both more than any player currently on the Mets.
