Pete Rose Sues Former MLB Investigator for Defamation: Latest Details, Comments

MLB hits king Pete Rose is suing the man who is partly responsible for his banishment from baseball, as the former Cincinnati Reds superstar alleges that he was defamed in a radio interview.

According to Mark Scolforo of the Associated Press, Rose is suing attorney John Dowd for saying that one of the former Reds manager's associates claimed that Rose raped underage girls during spring training.

Home Run Derby 2016: Format, Bracket Layout and Predictions

While the MLB All-Star Game is the one that counts for the World Series home advantage, the Home Run Derby is usually the most entertaining event of the week. This is especially true after the added twist in the rules last season.

Todd Frazier took the title in the first year with the new format, featuring a head-to-head bracket as well as a clock to provide some added excitement.

2016 MLB All-Star Game Final Vote: Odds of Each Candidate Winning a Spot

After months of voting, only two spots remain unfilled for the 87th annual MLB All-Star Game, which will be played Tuesday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m. ET in San Diego's Petco Park. Fans have until Friday, July 8, at 4 p.m. ET to vote for the players they believe deserve to join the festivities.

Brandon Moss Injury: Updates on Cardinals 1B's Ankle and Return

The St. Louis Cardinals placed first baseman Brandon Moss on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday because of a left ankle sprain, per MLB Roster Moves.

2016 MLB All-Star Roster: Biggest Snubs and Surprises

The annual announcement of the MLB All-Star Game rosters always sparks debate around the league.

With only 34 roster spots in each league, there are inevitably at least a handful of notable snubs each season. It simply boils down to a numbers game.

It's easy to forget that, before putting together a historically good second half last season, Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta was snubbed from the NL roster.

At the same time, the rosters have also been known to produce a surprise or two.
