Fantasy Baseball Box Score Breakouts – 4/10/10

Here’s a look at the unheralded players who played well yesterday.

Jeremy Bonderman, Detroit Tigers
Bonderman rewarded those who gambled on him. He went five innings for the win, allowing just one run with five Ks.

Aaron Harang, Cincinnati Reds
His fate (no-decision) wasn’t any better than it’s been the past couple of years, but he threw a solid game giving up three runs on four hits in seven innings with seven Ks.

Joaquin Arias, Texas Rangers
Arias went three for three with a run. He’s hitting .455 on the year.

Matt Harrison, Texas Rangers
Harrison gave up one run in six innings. He got a no-decision.

Brett Gardner, New York Yankees
Gardner went two for four with two runs, two RBIs, and a SB. He’s hitting .385.

Willy Taveras, Washington Nationals
Not known for his stick, Taveras had four RBIs to beat the Mets. He’s hitting .333.

Dana Eveland, Toronto Blue Jays
Eveland got off to a great start in his debut with the Jays. He went 7-1/3 scoreless innings giving up just five hits for the win.

Jason Varitek, Boston Red Sox
Tek hit two HRs. He’s not a fantasy option anymore though.

Placido Polanco, Philadelphia Phillies
Polanco had another multi-hit game. He went 2 for 5 with a run. He’s hitting .542.

Jason Michaels, Houston Astros
