Chase Headley, San Diego Padres
Headley went 3-for-4 with two runs to improve to .379.
Wade LeBlanc, San Diego Padres
Wade pitched six scoreless innings allowing three hits to beat the Reds and improve to 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA.
Fausto Carmona, Cleveland Indians
Carmona gave up one run in 7.1 innings to improve to 3-0 with a 2.96 ERA.
Brett Gardner, New York Yankees
Gardner went 3-for-5 with two runs and his ninth SB. He's hitting .340 on the year.
Andy Pettitte, New York Yankees
Pettitte continues to turn back the clock. He gave up one run over eight innings with eight Ks to improve to 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA.
Ty Wiggington, Baltimore Orioles
Ty went 4-for-5 with his sixth HR of the season raising his average to .333.
David DeJesus, Kansas City Royals
DeJesus went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. He's hitting .300.
Yuniesky Betancourt, Kansas City Royals
Betancourt went 3-for-6 with a run and an RBI to raise his average to .328.
Marlon Byrd, Chicago Cubs
Byrd is on fire. He went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI. He's now hitting .338.
Ted Lilly, Chicago Cubs
Lilly was sharp in his season debut throwing six scoreless innings allowing three hits and picking up four Ks in the win.
Vladimir Guerrero, Texas Rangers
Vlad is killing it for the Rangers. He went 3-for-4 with three RBI. He's hitting .379 with 11 RBI.
Aaron Cook, Colorado Rockies
Cook earned a complete game victory allowing one run on five hits. He's 1-2 with a 5.01 ERA.
Barry Zito, San Francisco Giants (pictured)
Zito has been good this year, but last night he was out of this world. Zito threw eight scoreless innings allowing three hits while striking out 10. He's 3-0 with a 1.32 ERA.
