Marco Scutaro, Boston Red Sox
Scutaro went 3-for-5 with four runs and an RBI to raise his average to .276.
Jason Varitek, Boston Red Sox
Tek went 3-for-4 with two runs and four RBI. He’s hitting .357.
Adrian Beltre, Boston Red Sox
Beltre went 3-for-5 with a run and two RBI to improve his average to .309.
Jose Bautista, Toronto Blue Jays
Bautista went 1-for-4 with a HR and four RBI. He’s hitting just .233 but has 16 RBI.
Lyle Overbay, Toronto Blue Jays
Overbay went 3-for-5 with two runs, a HR, and four RBI. He’s hitting just .183.
Marlon Byrd, Chicago Cubs
Byrd is smoking. He went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI to raise his average to .355.
Kyle Davies, Kansas City Royals
Davies earned the win after throwing six scoreless innings. He allowed just one hit while striking out five. He sits at 2-1 with a 3.65 ERA.
Gregg Zaun, Milwaukee Brewers
Zaun went 4-for-4 with three runs and five RBI. Despite his outburst, he’s hitting just .218 with eight RBI.

Trouble Watch
For some reason the Pirates threw Octavio Dotel to the wolves again as the Brew Crew was kicking the Bucs’ brains in. Dotel gave up four runs on three hits while recording a single out.
