Some reasonably available players to assist you in the Runs and/or RBI categories.

Runs

Yunel Escobar, SS, Atlanta Braves-  Yunel scored 8 Runs last week while going 9 for 30 (.300) with a HR and 4 RBI. On the year he’s hitting .306 with 19 Runs, 3 HRs, and 17 RBI.  He is owned in 66 percent of Yahoo!, 35 percent of ESPN, and 76 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Jerry Hairston Jr., SS/2B/OF, Cincinnati Reds- Jerry also scored 8 Runs last week.  He hit .393 (11 for 28) with 2 HRs, 6 RBI, and 2 SBs.  On the year he’s hitting .260 with 17 Runs, 3 HRs, 8 RBI, and 3 SBs. He is owned in 24 percent of Yahoo!, 3.7 percent of ESPN, and 10 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Adam Rosales, 3B, Cincinnati Reds - Jerry’s teammate Adam Rosales scored 6 Runs last week while hitting .333 (8 of 24) with 2 HRs and 2 RBI.  On the year he’s hitting .298 with 7 Runs, 2 HRs, and 5 RBI in 13 games.  He’s owned in four percent of Yahoo!, 0.8 percent of ESPN, and five percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Casey Blake, 1B/3B, Los Angeles Dodgers - Casey Blake also scored 6 Runs last week.  He went 8 for 21 (.381) with a HR and 3 RBI. On the year he’s hitting .259 with 18 Runs, 6 HRs, and 18 RBI. He’s owned in 37 percent of Yahoo!, 15.9 percent of ESPN, and 59 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Jason Giambi, 1B/DH, Oakland A’s - I round out the Runs contributors with Oakland’s Jason Giambi.  He scored 6 Runs as well while hitting .222 (4 for 18) with 2 HRs and 5 RBI.  On the year he’s hitting .212 with 18 Runs, 3 HRs, and 15 RBI. He is owned in 26 percent of Yahoo!, 18.5 percent of ESPN, and 55 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.  I only recommend Giambi in AL-only or extremely deep leagues.

RBI

Casey Kotchman, 1B, Atlanta Braves- Casey was the only player to keep up with Evan Longoria’s 11 RBIs last week.  He went 10 for 26 (.385) with 3 Runs and 2 HRs.  On the year he’s hitting .316 with 11 Runs, 2 HRs, and 15 RBI.  He is owned in 25 percent of Yahoo!, 28.1 percent of ESPN, and 44 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Nick Johnson, 1B, Washington Nationals - Nick Johnson had 10 RBI last week despite hitting just .250 (7 for 28).  He scored 3 Runs and hit 1 HR. On the year he’s hitting .314 with 19 Runs, 3 HRs, and 17 RBI.  He is owned in 23 percent of Yahoo!, 6.3 percent of ESPN, and 30 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Jack Cust, OF/DH, Oakland A’s - Jack had 7 RBIs last week while hitting .333 (8 for 24) with 3 Runs and 2 HRs.  On the year he’s hitting .290 with 20 Runs, 5 HRs, and 17 RBI.  He is owned in 38 percent of Yahoo!, 25.5 percent of ESPN, and 47 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Chris Duncan, 1B/OF, St. Louis Cardinals - Duncan also had 7 RBI last week.  He went 6 for 21 (.286) with 3 Runs.  On the year he’s hitting .283 with 13 Runs, 3 HRs, and 23 RBI. He is owned in 48 percent of Yahoo!, 46.2 percent of ESPN, and 57 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.

Ian Stewart, 2B/3B, Colorado Rockies - Ian had 7 RBIs last week while hitting .188 (3 for 16) with 3 Runs and 3 HRs.  On the year he’s hitting .211 with 12 Runs, 6 HRs, and 18 RBIs.

He is owned in 38 percent of Yahoo!, 6.3 percent of ESPN, and 54 percent of CBS Sportsline leagues.  He is hitting .135 at home and .294 away so I would only recommend using him in NL-only leagues during away games at this point.
