The veneer of invincibility that struck fear and intimidation into so many opponents has faded, and it has been replaced by a sense, real or perceived, of vulnerability.

Sometimes that's all it takes to lose the advantage.

There are just two weeks remaining in the 2015 MLB regular season, and the postseason picture is still far from decided around the league.

The AL East and AL West division titles are both still up for grabs, and the same goes for the second AL wild-card spot where four teams are within four games of one another.

On the National League side, the five postseason teams appear to be set, but the three NL Central contenders are still jockeying for position and trying to avoid the Wild Card Round game.

Heading into MLB's penultimate week, the top fantasy baseball adds are about to get weird.

In June, everyone would probably ignore most of these guys, fully expecting them to fall off by the All-Star break. With only two weeks left on the schedule, gamers might as well go for the ride.

This is Year 3 of this project, and those who came across either or both of the first two iterations will notice the big difference. Instead of ranking 500 players, this year we're only ranking 300 players. According to math, that's a much smaller number.

That's not so bad, though. This way, we can skip right to the really good players! And apart from that change, the idea remains the same.

But baseball season is winding down and there are precious few weeks left with all 30 teams on the schedule. We know by now that when there are more teams playing, there's more value to be found.

As MLB's playoff picture begins to come into focus, stars around the game are finding themselves with plenty to prove over the season's final weeks. Over the next few slides, we'll identify a handful of big names that figure to be under the microscope.

As it turns out, the New York Mets masher was just one of an array of stars who landed a spot on this unfortunate team. The selection process was all about digging through the numbers to figure out which major leaguers were the worst of the worst during the week that was.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost third baseman Justin Turner on Saturday night when he was taken out of a game with a knee problem.

Turner Battling Knee Soreness

According to the Dodgers' official Twitter, Turner left the game against Pittsburgh due to soreness in his left knee. 

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Elian Herrera was forced to leave Saturday's 9-7 loss to the Cincinnati Reds after colliding with Shane Peterson, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy.

In the bottom of the eighth inning of Friday night's game, Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock made a great play to keep the San Francisco Giants off the board.

The Giants were able to muster all of one hit through the first seven innings of the game. However, they entered the eighth trailing just 2-0.
