Paul Konerko Re-signs With White Sox: South Side Hit Men Set To Slug in 2011

Three years, $37.5 million.

A $500,000 per year raise.

Not too shabby for having one of the greatest years of your career in a contract season.

The table is set on the south side. With Adam Dunn now definitely playing DH, and A.J Pierzynski returning to his catching duties, the White Sox are "all-in" as Kenny Williams put it.

Cliff Lee: Angels In the Mix to Sign Coveted Free Agent Arm

Cliff Lee is easily the most coveted free agent pitcher on the market this season, but the dominant left seems to have whittled his choices down to just three: the Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, and most recently, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

According to reports, the Angels, who are also in the running for big name free agent outfielder Carl Crawford, have apparently been courting Lee, although they have yet to make an offer to sign the pitcher.

Jamie McCourt: Judge Throws Out Marital Property Agreement, Dodgers Half Jamie's

Jamie McCourt, the ex-wife of Dodgers owner Frank McCourt, was awarded half-ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers Tuesday when the judge presiding over their divorce threw out the marital property agreement that kept the team solely in Frank's possession.

The judge found that the contract, signed before the couple married, was either invalid or unenforceable, and must therefore be set aside.

The New York Mets and free-agent reliever D.J. Carrasco have agreed to a two-year deal worth $2.5 million according to Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com and Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com.

MLB Rumors: 10 Forgotten Names Who Can Be Great Signings For 2011

Many names are orbiting the world of baseball. The bigger the names, the faster they go, leaving the smaller names into the dark. But like a used car with enough mileage left in it, those names can make a difference for the teams who choose to take a chance.

Here are 10 free agents that are worth taking a chance on:

Although not there yet, I will be in Orlando tomorrow to bring you all of the latest news at Major League Baseball's annual Winter Meetings.

As usual on the first day, there is much dialogue between clubs.  Most of it goes nowhere, but rumors will fly and some groundwork to future deals may be laid.

MLB Trade Rumors: Five Deals Being Discussed On The Floor Of The Winter Meetings

Lake Buena Vista, FL. (2:35 PM): With the Jayson Werth deal being signed, sealed and delivered, and the Adrian Gonzalez trade done with the extension to be announced later, the entire baseball world is wondering where Cliff Lee will sign.

Lee's agent Darek Braunecker today met with the various teams interested in Lee. Braunecker met with New York Yankee and Texas Ranger officials. There was even talk the Boston Red Sox met briefly with Lee's agent, probably just to keep tabs on what the Yankees are up to.

MLB Trade Rumors: Prince Fielder and Latest from MLB Winter Meetings

MLB trade rumors continue to swirl with the Winter Meetings underway in Orlando.

After the Red Sox acquired Adrian Gonzalez from the Padres, it appears another slugging first baseman could be on the move.

ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that the Dodgers are in talks with the Brewers about possibly acquiring Prince Fielder.

The deal would come as a surprise for L.A. since the Dodgers franchise is not believed to be in spending mode this winter.
