It is nearly impossible to not fall in love with an under-the-radar player or two each year while preparing for a new fantasy football season.

During a four-year period from 2005 to 2008, Jose Reyes was one of the elite players in fantasy baseball, averaging 113 runs, 14 HRs, 66 RBI, a whopping 65 steals and a .287 batting average per season.

Everyone in their fantasy draft is looking for the Jose Bautista. Everyone is looking for the next breakout star in baseball. Those guys are few and far in between.

Alfonso Soriano turned 35 in January. He managed to play 147 games last year, but he missed 125 games combined the three previous seasons. He was once considered an elite fantasy outfielder, but those days are over.

There is little doubt when someone says that Andrew McCutchen is among the best outfielders in baseball, is there? The question is, at 24 years old, exactly how do we compare him to the rest of the field?
