Fantasy Fever: Minor Leaguer Sayonara Strasburg Is a Good Pick

You may have heard some rumblings about this Stephen Strasburg guy. Allegedly, he's pretty good.

Check that: he must be good, as usually the only time a Washington National warrants media attention is in relation to a comedy of errors (cough, cough, Nyjer Morgan , cough, cough).

Fantasy Baseball Scouting Report: Jonathan Lucroy, Milwaukee Brewers

Over the weekend, owners in two-catcher formats got a new name to ponder: the Brewers' Jonathan Lucroy.

With Gregg Zaun going on the DL, the Brewers recalled Lucroy, who Baseball America ranked their fifth best prospect heading into the season.

Splitting time between Double and Triple-A, he posted the following line in 2010:

122 At-Bats

Two Home Runs
16 RBI
16 Runs
Zero Stolen Bases
.349 On-Base Percentage
.418 Slugging Percentage
.350 Batting Average on Balls in Play

MLB Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Pitchers: Week Eight (May 24-30)

It’s time to look at the potential two-start options for the upcoming fantasy week.  If I have someone rated as a three, four, or five-star option, they are someone I would definitely use.  A two-star option is someone who is borderline, but I’d strongly lean against it unless I have no other options.  The one-star options are an absolutely not scenario.

So, with that said, let’s take a look at the players available to you this week:

Fantasy Baseball Around the Majors: May 21: Rollins, Billingsley & More

We had a full slate of Interleague games, with plenty of interesting performances.  How about the Twins' 15 runs outburst—Joe Mauer had to have a big night, right?  How about Chad Billingsley & Cole Hamels impressing?

Fantasy Baseball Box Score Breakouts: May 20, 2010

Fantasy Baseball Around the Majors, May 20: Kershaw, Zobrist, and More

Ben Zobrist finally went deep.  The same could be said about Troy Tulowitzki, who hit just his second home run of the season.  Clayton Kershaw, Jon Lester, and Ubaldo Jimenez dominated.  Let’s look at these stories and all the rest from yesterday’s games.

Fantasy Baseball: Replacing Jorge Posda in Two-Catcher Formats

When you play in a two-catcher league, finding a suitable replacement should there be an injury (or lack of playing time) occur is a difficult feat.  Sometimes you get lucky, stumbling upon a Miguel Montero, but that is rarely the case.
