Who will represent the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2014 MLB All-Star Game?

This question is a reflection of how the team has played so far this season both individually and collectively. 

Since 2008 the question surrounding the Rays' All-Star selections has been how many players the team would send. The franchise has sent at least two players to the Midsummer Classic each season since changing the name to the Rays.

The powerhouse that is the American League East division is known for big bats and the big budgets of the Yankees and Red Sox, but this year, a new crop of talented pitchers have entered the big leagues and look to make some serious noise.

All of the rotations in the division, except the Red Sox, feature one promising rookie and then there is a solid, young lefty sitting in the Rays pen.

Here are the best arms of the future that have crept their way into the big leagues in the early goings of 2011.

Spring training is more than halfway in the books, and the final roster spots for the Opening Day of 2011 are still being determined by the Rays' staff.

Most of the open spots are in the bullpen, where several pitchers are still in the hunt for a spot on the roster, come April 1st. There are at least three spots up for grabs, with Adam Russell no longer a sure thing and J.P. Howell on the mend for the first month.

If you are looking for the likes of Mike Trout or Bryce Harper, you aren’t going to find them here. This list is geared towards 2011, and only 2011.

We're two weeks into spring training and now that pitchers and hitters have started to get their groove back, attention is going to shift towards results.  The Tampa Bay Rays bullpen is wide open, and many pitchers are vying for a spot.  From grizzled veterans to young phenoms, the Rays have a variety of arms to look at.

Not to mention a guy by the name of Manny Ramirez.
