Jackie Bradley Jr.'s 29-game hitting streak came to an end Thursday against the Colorado Rockies.

Bradley finished hitless in four at-bats as the Boston Red Sox fell 8-2 at Fenway Park.

Bradley was close to getting another chance to extend his streak, per MLB.com's Ian Browne:

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams left the field during Thursday's game against the Washington Nationals with mid-back stiffness, the team announced.

Minnesota Twins pitching coach Neil Allen has been suspended indefinitely by the team after he was arrested early Thursday morning for driving while intoxicated.    

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor's suspension has been reduced by one game.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Hector Olivera has been suspended without pay through Aug. 1 for violating Major League Baseball's joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy.   

MLB announced the ruling Thursday and added that Olivera won't appeal the 82-game ban—which is retroactive to April 30. 

Kansas City Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right ACL tear, the team announced Thursday.

The team recalled Brett Eibner from Triple-A Omaha.

MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan added that Moustakas is expected to miss the rest of the season:

New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is day-to-day after missing Wednesday's game with a neck injury.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Teixeira will miss the next three games after getting a cortisone shot in his neck.

The Boston Red Sox are set to retire Wade Boggs' No. 26 on Thursday night, but after what he did on Wednesday, the team may be rethinking that special honor.
