Legendary New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra died of natural causes at the age of 90 Tuesday night at his home in New Jersey.

News of Berra's death came via the Yogi Berra Museum, and the Yankees' official Twitter feed paid tribute to their iconic player:

The historic accolades are flowing in for Jake Arrieta.

A magical season on the North Side of Chicago hit another high point Tuesday when ace Jake Arrieta threw a complete-game shutout in the Chicago Cubs' 4-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Arrieta became the first pitcher in the major leagues to reach the 20-win plateau and trimmed the Cubs' magic number to reach the postseason to three.

The 2015 season has been a disaster for the last-place Detroit Tigers, but their fans got something to cheer about Tuesday when Daniel Norris, Buck Farmer, Ian Krol, Drew VerHagen and Neftali Feliz combined to pitch 8.1 innings of no-hit baseball during the team's 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox.

The Miami Marlins' managerial job has been mired in turmoil all season. Heading into 2016, it appears the team is dead set on a veteran option.
