Another week of the 2015 MLB campaign is in the books, and we are now just two weeks from the end of the regular season and the start of what promises to be another exciting month of playoff baseball.

Playoff races, postseason rosters and end-of-the-year awards become the main talking points around the league this time of year, and that has been the case once again this September.

It's week two of the NFL season and you're probably planning on plopping down on the couch for that magical seven-hour block of NFL RedZone that only happens 17 times every year. Honestly, I can't blame you. 

But baseball season is winding down and there are precious few weeks left with all 30 teams on the schedule. We know by now that when there are more teams playing, there's more value to be found.

As MLB's playoff picture begins to come into focus, stars around the game are finding themselves with plenty to prove over the season's final weeks. Over the next few slides, we'll identify a handful of big names that figure to be under the microscope.

According to the Dodgers' official Twitter, Turner left the game against Pittsburgh due to soreness in his left knee.
