Milton Bradley, You've Got Issues

Milton Bradley…thanks for finally telling us what we’ve known for 11 years…that you’ve got mad issues!

In this portion of his bizarre Game of Life, Bradley went 0 for 2 (two strikeouts) Tuesday night during a home game vs. the Tampa Bay Rays. After the second punch-out, Bradley supposedly stormed into the clubhouse and left Safeco Field.

NCAA Announces College World Series Legends Team

It’s not often we talk about college baseball here at The Ghost of Moonlight Graham , but I thought we would today. Yesterday, the NCAA announced its College World Series legends team.

The 25 players and three coaches were selected from a list of 95 nominees picked by the NCAA, the Omaha World-Herald and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Members of the team who can attend will be honored at the CWS this year, in the final season of Rosenblatt Stadium.

Here is the list of the players that were selected.

Colorado Rockies Need To Make a Statement in LA

It almost seems inevitable at this point. The Rockies struggle early, that's just the way it goes.

Should the San Francisco Giants Be Concerned about Their Bullpen?

Tim Lincecum can’t seem to catch a break.

In his past two starts, Lincecum was the epitome of the stat “quality starts,” striking out 23 batters through 15.1 innings and only allowing five runs on eight hits. But because of his bullpen, the Freak failed to record a win in over a week.

For one game a week fans, the inability to close out games for Lincecum has created some murmurings that the San Francisco Giants bullpen could be in trouble.

Jim Tracy Is Costing the Colorado Rockies Games

Jim Tracy took over for Clint Hurdle and was an immediate success. He brought stability to a lineup that changed every day and roles for a bullpen that was consistently a fluid situation.

San Diego Padres of 2010 Another Tampa Bay Rays of 2008?

For the 2010 season, San Diego Padres General Manager Jed Hoyer took over to make the disappointing team in 2009, better.

Hoyer made some decent additions, such as Jerry Hairston Jr., Jon Garland, and Matt Stairs in order bring this team around (well, at least do better than their 87 loss season).

But they are already 16-9.

Jon Garland was brought in to be the No. 1 starter, replacing Cy Young Award winner Jake Peavy, and he has been performing above expectations.

Matt Stairs was to be a pinch hitter.
